Meet Fanta! He came to us as a stray and has a big personality that can be described as “the stereotype of a cat.” This funny boy is oh so affectionate, flirty, sweet and loving, but he is not hesitant to give you some attitude the moment he’s not “feeling it.” When you’re on his good side, he likes to crawl in your lap and roll around on his back, with his belly fully exposed in all of its blubbery, fluffy glory. Before and after operating hours, staff like to give him the chance to explore the cat room for hours on end and he loves the adventure – especially climbing the cat towers and staring out the window. However, Fanta is easily bothered, especially in the Shelter environment (barking dogs, screaming kids, strangers coming in and out, etc.) Due to his persnickety attitude, he can be proud to hiss at your mere presence and let you know that he is not in the mood for human beings right now. Fanta is the kind of cat that will proudly put the entire household in its place and establish his role as king of his domain. It seems he does not want to share this role with any other dogs or cats, so he is looking to be your one and only. According to him, its Fanta’s world and we’re just living in it.
