Altrusa International of Richardson is now accepting applications for grants to qualifying area nonprofits for the 2023-24 grants cycle. Grants typically range from $1,000-$1,500, with the money used for specific projects benefiting the community by May 31, 2024.
An online application and submission instructions are available at www.altrusarichardson.com/grants.
The submission deadline is Aug. 31. Applications will be reviewed by the Grants Committee. Recipients will receive notification by Oct. 31.

OWT Nominations Open
Altrusa is accepting nominations for 2023 Outstanding Women of Today: Hearts for Service, a distinguished honor for professional accomplishments. Women are recognized for exemplifying determination and innovation, and for making outstanding contributions in their chosen careers. Nominations are being accepted through August and honorees will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Oct. 27. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
