Beginning tonight, Friday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m., Alma Road will be closed in both directions at the rail crossing just south of the Bush Turnpike at all times, as DART Silver Line track panels are put in place. No northbound or southbound travel will be permitted at that point and traffic will be detoured to Custer Parkway and US 75 and then to Renner Road and Plano Parkway. The road is expected to reopen for both directions of travel at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12.
