The City is continuing to seek public input for the development of an Active Transportation Plan via an online community survey, extended until May 31. The ATP will serve as a roadmap to guide short- and long-term priorities regarding active transportation, i.e., human-powered transportation modes such as walking, cycling and using a wheelchair. The survey is available here; paper copies of a short-form version are available at the Library.

An interactive mapping tool is now part of the online survey—the tool allows users to comment on current and planned walking and biking routes as well as identify barriers, gaps, etc. that have impeded mobility, such as missing sidewalk, missing ramps, maintenance issues, etc. (Note: The mapping tool is best viewed on computers rather than mobile devices.)
