The classic movie “A Christmas Story” is now a stage play at the Richardson Theatre Centre offering a fun and fascinating trip back to the heyday of old-time radio and a new take on what has become a beloved holiday comedy.
The play centers around Ralphie, a boy who has his heart set on only one gift for Christmas. “A Christmas Story,” takes center stage at RTC December 6th to 22nd with performances scheduled Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
“Its just such a great cast and I’m really glad to be in this production and I think people will get a lot of laughs out of it,” said Mark Vasquez who plays Ralphie in the production.
RTC is one of many community organizations funded in part by the City through the Cultural Arts Commission.
