RICHARDSON – Darbey’s Story Walk located outside the Richardson Public Library is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the children’s book “Dreamers” by Yuyi Morales.
The book, which is available for viewing celebrates the making of home using things people usually carry including resilience, dreams, hopes and history. It’s the story of finding your way in a new place, of navigating an unfamiliar world and discovering the best parts about it.
“In addition to being a song of the immigration experience, it’s also a love letter to libraries,” said Kayla Hollis, Youth Services Librarian at the Richardson Public Library.
