The Bunker Hill water main improvement project has begun and will involve the closure of several lanes through various phases of the project, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. In Phase 1, the southbound lane of Bunker Hill between Floyd Road and Campbell Road will be closed to traffic; during Phase 2, the right lane of westbound Campbell Road at Nantucket Drive will be closed and Phases 3 and 4 involve the closure of first northbound and then southbound Floyd Road at Bunker Hill, with flaggers present for alternative movement of traffic. The work is expected to be complete by early December.
