Dogs and their owners are invited to cool off at Richardson AnimaLuv’s annual Dog Splash, Sunday, Aug. 18, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Terrace Pool, 300 N. Lois Ln. The event is come and go and includes concessions, vendors, rescue groups and entertainment, and swimming for both dogs and people (the pool capacity will be closely monitored). Special guest, Miss Texas Chandler Foreman, will be present from noon-2 p.m.
Admission is $5 per dog, with humans admitted free. Dogs must have a current rabies vaccination to enter pool area. All proceeds benefit the Richardson Animal Shelter. Pre-registration is not required, but preferred—register online at www.cor.net/SplashDay. Walk-in registration is welcome onsite the day of the event.
