A ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Heights Family Aquatic Center was held this morning ahead of the upcoming summer season.
The full renovation includes a brand-new pool deck designed to stay cooler on your feet, improvements to the slides and shade structures, a refreshed tot area with a new slide, updated play features and renovations to the pump house.
The improvements are part of the City’s Aquatic Master Plan approved last year.
Heights Family Aquatic Center opens this weekend, May 23-25, for Memorial Day weekend and then reopens for the summer on Saturday, May 30.
Richardson’s four neighborhood pools (Canyon Creek, Cottonwood, Glenville, and Terrace) will also open for the summer on Saturday, May 30.
