Volunteers helped plant more than 100 trees at Breckinridge Park this week in celebration of Texas Arbor Day (Nov. 7), making a positive impact on the environment and our City’s largest park. The event was presented by the City of Richardson along with the North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee; the trees were donated by local nonprofit One Earth One Chance and the Suresh family in the memory of their son Rajiv Suresh.
Types of trees planted included Cedar Elm, Bald Cypress and Red Oak.
