At Monday’s City Council meeting, Council members reviewed and discussed its Rules of Order & Procedure that creates guidelines that govern how meetings are conducted, how decisions are made, and how members of the Council interact during meetings. The Rules also clarify public hearing procedures and are developed based on state law, the City Charter, and common practices. City staff will prepare a resolution for adoption of changes to the Rules of Order and Procedure at a future City Council meeting.
