Families lined up along North Coit Road this weekend for Richardson’s 51st Annual Christmas Parade.
It was filled with colorful floats, festive music and marching bands. Groups and organizations, even many of our four-legged friends made their way from Richardson High School to J.J. Pearce High School, helping kickoff the holiday season.
This year’s theme was The Parade of Misfit Toys.
Each parade entry was judged. Awards handed out to those able to best interpret the theme. The winners, celebrated during the kickoff to Santa’s Village at Huffhines Park.

- Berkner H.S. Ramblers

- Pioneer Technology Arts Academy Interact Club
In the spirit of giving, a big thank you to the Network of Community Ministries. The organization benefits from the parade.
This year, the Parade had 50 entries and an estimated 1,100 participants in the parade.
