The City is commissioning artists for four upcoming opportunities related to facility renovation projects as part of the 2021 Bond Program. These opportunities are open to U.S.-based artists and artist teams with the capacity to successfully complete design and installation/fabrication of the project within the budget and timeline. The four opportunities include art for the Animal Shelter, Fire Station 5, and two installments at the Richardson Public Library.
For each facility, a selection panel comprised of members of the Richardson community as well as site stakeholders will advise the City on artist selection and approval of the concept proposal.
