The news crews from Good Morning Texas on WFAA Channel 8 featured the Richardson Public Library during a segment on Summer Reading and Summer Programs.
The Library, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary later this year was recommended to the station because of its fun and visual space with programs offered to residents throughout the summer.
“I heard a lot about it and I heard the Richardson Public Library was a good place to go and there is a lot going on and just a lot of activities and just a beautiful place for a backdrop for the segment,” said Paige McCoy Smith, reporter for Good Morning Texas.
WFAA also featured books that recently came out for people to enjoy. The segment included Gwen Reyes from www.FreshFiction.com who highlighted the books “Naturally Tan,” and “Formation.”
