The EPA’s annual Fix a Leak Week, a WaterSense program, has been taking place this week and is a time when residents are encouraged to check for water leaks and drips inside the home. To help with that, the City is distributing free toilet leak detection tablet packs at several city facilities. The packs can help detect silent toilet leaks, which can waste more than 200 gallons of water a day.

Today through March 24, pick up leak detection packs at the following facilities during normal business hours:

  • City Hall (Grand Hall)
  • Richardson Service Center
  • Heights Recreation Center
  • Huffhines Recreation Center
  • Senior Center
