Community Events staff gave an update about the City’s annual Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival at Monday’s City Council meeting.
Changes in store for the 2024 event, to be held May 17-19, include:
- Early ticket sales,
- New ticket sales incentives,
- An updated portable chair policy, and
- Return of the Plaza Stage.
For 2024, 3-day and VIP tickets will go on sale Jan. 1. Special pricing on several types of tickets will be available at select times in February, March and April, with $15 Richardson resident tickets available online beginning Feb. 16, $3 less than buying them in-person.
Portable chairs/blankets will be prohibited in the seating zone closest to the Amphitheater stage on Fridays and Saturdays during the festival for increased patron safety.
The return of the Plaza Stage comes after it had to be removed from the festival for the past two years due to nearby construction work taking place at Galatyn Plaza.
