RICHARDSON – During the month of January, Richardson’s Heights and Huffhines recreation centers are offering a 21% off discount for all annual memberships sold.
“Working out at the recreation centers are a great way to stay fit, to get healthy and to get your body moving. We know residents want to start off the new year right with new goals, new resolutions and we want to be here for them,” said Sarah Patton, Recreation Special Events Manager.
Both locations have treadmills and other cardio equipment available for members. The sites also have free weights and lots of space indoors for running, walking or playing sports.
Since the pandemic, staff have been busy putting safety precautions in place. Equipment is spaced out to help with social distancing. The equipment is wiped down frequently throughout the day and masks are required.
“I feel really good and safe. I trust that they not only have my best interest at heart, but they care about the facility,” said Robert Dodds, Richardson resident and longtime Heights Recreation Center member.
