Installation of the five winning designs from the City’s fourth annual Traffic Signal Box Art Contest is now complete. The winners were announced and recognized at a City Council meeting last month, and their art was featured in the June edition of Richardson Today. The theme for this year’s contest was “Butterflies.”
Winners and the intersection location of the artwork (wrapped on traffic signal boxes) are as follows:
- Jennifer Geiger, “A Colorful Symphony” – Arapaho Road/Floyd Road
- Emily Adams, “Butterflies Squared” – Alma Road/Renner Road
- Josselyn Zorto, “Wings of Change” – Campbell Road/Owens Boulevard
- Emily Painter, “Flora and Fauna” – Lookout Drive/Plano Road
- Kristina Hrubo, “Butterfly Garden” – Apollo Road/Plano Road
