The 25th Richardson Corporate Challenge wrapped up yesterday with the closing ceremony at the Eisemann Center. Representatives from DFW-area businesses that competed in the Challenge, as well as Corporate Challenge beneficiary Special Olympics Texas, were on hand to celebrate with a check presentation for $177,000. 
 
The Corporate Challenge is a 10-week, Olympic-style competition among employees, spouses and retirees from local companies that began in August. This year’s Challenge included contests in 23 events ranging from active sports like soccer and volleyball to less intensive competitions like dominoes and Texas Hold ‘Em. 
 
Companies honored for the most points in each division were: 

  • Division A – Texas Instruments 
  • Division B – Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital 
  • Division C – Slalom Consulting 
  • Division D – Ally 
  • Division E – Moss Adams 

Special Olympics Texas has received more than $3.25 million from the Richardson Corporate Challenge since the competition began in 1998.
