The Richardson Interfaith Alliance, in partnership with Compassionate DFW and the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC), is hosting the 6th Annual Feeding Children Everywhere (US Hunger) Compassion Event Sunday, Sept. 19, from noon-5 p.m. at EPIC, 4700 14th St. in Plano.
Volunteers are needed to package meals for local food banks and pantries; this year’s goal is 100,000 meals. Donations are also needed to help fund the meals at a cost of 30 cents per meal.
