1Finity Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited, is consolidating its Richardson and Dallas offices into a new North American headquarters at Galatyn Commons Office Park in Richardson. This strategic move includes significant capital investment and projected job growth in the months and years ahead. By relocating to the heart of one of Richardson’s premier business hubs, 1Finity reinforces its long-standing partnership with the community and strengthens its role in the city’s innovation-driven economy.
“Fujitsu has long been a cornerstone of both economic development and community leadership in Richardson, and remains one of our most valued corporate partners,” said Richardson City Manager Don Magner. “We’re proud that Richardson was chosen as the site for 1Finity’s North American operations, an endorsement of the strong value proposition our city offers. This continued partnership builds on a legacy that has helped shape Richardson into one of the region’s leading hubs for research and development.”
The City of Richardson is providing 1Finity a $2.3 million business retention and expansion grant, along with an estimated $130,000 in waived permit fees, to support the company’s consolidation of its Richardson and Dallas offices into a new 65,000-square-foot North American headquarters at 2380 Performance Drive. In exchange, the company is committing to a 12-year lease, a minimum $13 million capital investment in tenant improvements, and the retention and creation of at least 500 full-time jobs. The grant will be distributed in three installments over two years, contingent upon meeting job and occupancy benchmarks.
“As a major hub for technology innovation, Richardson is the ideal setting for our new North American headquarters,” said Rod Naphan, CRO of 1Finity, Inc. and CEO of 1Finity Americas, Inc. “This move reflects our commitment to deliver ‘Networks Without Limits’ while investing in the community that has supported our growth for decades.”
Fujitsu’s History in Richardson
In the 1990s, Fujitsu established a major presence in Richardson by developing its expansive, approximately 845,000-square-foot campus, which positioned the city as a key location in North Texas’s telecommunications corridor. As Richardson’s tech and telecom industries grew, the city began attracting other global leaders, building a highly sought-after innovation ecosystem. In 2008, Fujitsu further deepened its commitment to the community by relocating its North American headquarters to Richardson.
Fujitsu’s continued growth and deep-rooted community involvement led to its selection as the 2024 recipient of the City’s Economic Development Growth and Entrepreneurship (EDGE) Legacy Award. The award is the highest among several honors presented in partnership with the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and is presented to companies with a lasting impact on Richardson’s economy and community.

These initiatives are designed to attract and retain businesses and to enhance and carefully redevelop office campuses with a variety of uses to attract new long-term corporate tenants.
