Work is progressing at the office building that will house Richardson’s temporary City Hall at 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd. The one-story building, located at the southwest corner of Plano Road and Greenville Avenue, will bring together several City departments under one roof after they were displaced as a result of the August 2022 City Hall fire. It will also temporarily house the Richardson Public Library, as renovations to the current Library structure (funded by the 2021 Bond Program) are planned to begin later this year.
Plans are for City Hall and Library staff to begin moving into the temporary building in late summer/early fall. City Council meetings will also move to the new building near that time.
