After Richardson’s Streets crews worked ‘round the clock last week to prepare for the recent wintry mix of snow and ice, Parks and Recreation crews began sweeping up the sand and salt this week on roads near public buildings, with contractors expected to begin sweeping additional roadways next week.
The street sweeping is expected to take up to three weeks to complete due to the large amount of sand/salt that was put on the roads.
