In this often funny, sometimes touching and always engaging one-man-show, veteran British actor David Payne brings Winston Churchill to life onstage. Audiences hear of his exploits during the Boer War, his constant battles with Britain’s fellow politicians, his special relationship with America and America’s presidents, and details about the two special women in his life—his wife, Clementine, and Queen Elizabeth.

Chabad of Plano/Collin County presents Israeli leader, author and human rights activist Natan Sharansky, who spent nine years in Soviet prisons during the 1970s and 80s. The evening honors SMU Human Rights Program Director Dr. Rick Halperin.
