The 2022-23 budget calls for a 1.9 percent increase to the City’s water and sewer rates as the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) continues to improve its infrastructure while also securing water supplies to meet the needs of its growing customer base. The increases to the water bills and sewer rates will be reflected in November water bills. An average water and sewer bill increase $27 a year, $2.25 per month. This is based on usage of 8,000 gallons a month from October through May and 18,000 gallons a month for June through September.
