The right lane of the southbound US 75 frontage road at Floyd Road, between James Drive and Spring Valley Road, may be closed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Registration ends April 29 for the Richardson Woman’s Club’s Annual Golf Tournament taking place May 6 at Sherrill Park. Cost per player is $150 or $1,000 for a corporate team; registration includes lunch and dinner.

FOL Book Sale Begins April 29

More than 30,000 hardbound books, paperbacks, CDs, DVDs and other media will be available with most items costing $2 or less. Friday is Tax Free day and Sunday is “Fill the Bag Day,” when shoppers can purchase everything they can fit in a paper grocery bag (provided) for $15, including tax.
