Richardson has received a “Superior” rating of our water system by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

As temperatures rise, so do the number of Ozone Action Days. Declared by the North Central Texas Council of Governments, these are the days when high ozone levels can cause serious health problems, and inhaling ground-level ozone is especially dangerous for people who have asthma or respiratory problems.
