State of the City Held

Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker declared the state of Richardson as “strong” Wednesday during the annual State of the City address, a free, open-to-the-public event held in the Eisemann Center’s Bank of America Theatre.

At Monday’s City Council meeting, the City Council appointed the nine members of the City Plan Commission to act as the 2022 Council District Boundary Commission.

After a public hearing at Monday’s City Council meeting, the Richardson City Council approved a zoning change for 16.4 acres located at the northeast corner of North Glenville Drive and East Lookout Drive, changing the property’s zoning from Industrial to Planned Development to accommodate a 590-unit, mixed residential community.

Property Taxes Due Jan. 31

Property taxes owed to the City of Richardson are due Jan. 31 and should be paid to either the Collin County or Dallas County Tax Office, depending on where the taxed property is located.
