The City of Richardson has begun the process of updating its Cultural Arts Master Plan, which was last updated in April 2013.

Corporate Challenge Begins Friday, Aug. 9

Every year, dozens of DFW-area companies come together to participate in the Richardson Corporate Challenge. This year, the 10-week Olympic-style competition is celebrating 26 years and will kick off Friday, Aug. 9 at 5:30 p.m. with an opening ceremony. People traveling near Huffhines Park during this time can expect to see more traffic in the area.

FEMA Individual Assistance Deadline Extended to Aug. 15

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) extended the deadline to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) (for homeowners and renters affected by the April and May storms who reside in Dallas County and Collin County) to Aug. 15.
