UT Dallas’ Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies presents British writer and historian Lucy Adlington, who will discuss her book, “The Dressmakers of Auschwitz: The True Story of the Women Who Sewed to Survive.” The book powerfully chronicles the stories of 25 women who used their sewing skills to survive the Holocaust, working in a concentration camp “fashion workshop” and creating beautiful garments for elite Nazi women.
