The Texins Jazz Band, a full 18-piece community big band, is back with jazz vocal sensation Veronica Swift, a past runner-up in the Thelonious Monk vocal competition. Selections include the music of Stevie Wonder, Dinah Washington, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Dresden Dolls, Atlanta Rhythm Section as well as songs from Broadway. The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra’s Jazz Orchestra will open the show and perform with Veronica as well.
