Theatre UTD: “The Dream Play” Opens Thursday

The Dream Play is a phantasmagoric hallucinatory fairy-tale fantasy that follows the associative logic of a dream. Based on a 1901 play by Swedish playwright and poet August Strindberg, it was a precursor to expressionism and surrealism, influencing the transformation of drama, narrative, and the possibility of artistic expression that followed.
