Unofficial results are in for the June 5 Runoff Election for City Council Place 6. The candidates, in ballot order, and vote totals are as follows:

| Arefin Shamsul | 3,523 | 54.961% (winner) |
The Richardson City Council must canvass the election returns before they are official. The canvass will take place June 14. Please note that the final numbers may change slightly once all mail-in and provisional ballots are counted.
