The Residential Cooking Oil/Grease Collection event that was scheduled as part of Trash Bash has been rescheduled. People can drop off used cooking oil and grease at the Service Center, 1260 Columbia Dr., April 29-May 10. The collection location will be in the parking lot adjacent to the southernmost entrance to the Municipal Service Center off Glenville Drive.
Use a sealable container and place in the plastic bin located in the parking lot. Please note that motor oil and other automotive fluid is not accepted.
Grease dropped off will either be used to create biodiesel or turned into biogas for energy production.
