The turf experts at the City’s Sherrill Park Golf Course have been busy over the past week applying pre-emergent herbicide to Sherrill Park’s two courses, and recommend homeowners do the same for their yards. The herbicide prevents weeds from taking over the grass during the winter months when grass goes dormant. Be sure to find pre-emergent that is suited for your grass type and follow the recommended application instructions to avoid damaging your yard.
