RICHARDSON – Court is in session at the Core Theatre in Richardson as its latest production “The Trail of Ebenezer Scrooge” will soon take center stage.

“It is a great update of the Ebenezer Scrooge Christmas Carol story, and it takes place in a venue that most of us are familiar with from television, a court room,” said actor David Colville.

The story takes place a year after the events of A Christmas Story. Scrooge is suing the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future for kidnapping, false imprisonment, and defamation of character.

The production has a lot of twists and turns and introduces us to new faces, while featuring some of our favorite characters.

“It encourages you to have a Christmas-like spirit all year-round. I love this script. This is actually the fourth time we’ve done it and has become a semi-annual tradition.

We think it’s fabulous,” said director James Hansen Prince.

The Trail of Ebenezer Scrooge runs Dec. 3-19.
