A public hearing on the proposed 2019-20 budget and a second public hearing on the proposed tax rate for the 2019-20 fiscal year was held at Monday’s City Council meeting. The proposed budget includes a modification to the originally proposed budget: shifting $400,000 in funding to support future public safety needs in the Police and Fire departments.
