Today, members of Richardson’s Complete County Committee gathered to kick off its support efforts for the 2020 Census.
The group is made up of representatives from all over the community including education, non-profit organizations and government officials who are working together to design a local strategy to make sure Richardson gets counted.
Data collected through the U.S. Census Bureau helps determine resources for our community, but also gives an accurate indication of the needs are in Richardson. The 2020 Census will be conducted between January and July 2020.
“We appreciate all of our community partners who have been an integral part in making sure Richardson gets counted in the 2020 Census,” said Shanna Sims-Bradish, assistant City Manager for the City of Richardson.
