There are many fun activities for children to participate in over the summer in Richardson including practicing their putting at Sherrill Park Golf Course located at 2001 E. Lookout Drive.
Several kids have signed up to participate in the summer camp which is taking place through August.
It teaches the fundamentals of golf while getting them excited about the sport.
“They walk away learning a little bit about rules, etiquette, manners. You know, this is a big place and so we got a golf club in our hands, we have to know safety and they will also walk away with a bunch of memories,” said Jacob Horton, Performance Golf Academy at Sherrill Park Golf Course.
