The Library has postponed the start of the 2022 weekday Storytime program until Feb. 7 and has canceled Saturday Morning Kids family Storytime (already in progress) until Feb. 12.
New start dates and times are as follows:
- Baby Booksit, storytime for babies 6 weeks-12 months old, will now begin Tuesday, Feb. 8 and run each Tuesday through March 1, 10:15-10:35 a.m.
- Baby Steps, storytime for babies 12 months-24 months old, will begin Tuesday, Feb. 8 and run through March 4. (Participants may choose Tuesdays, 10:45-11:05 a.m. or Fridays, 10:15-10:35 a.m.)
- Wiggle Worms, storytime for toddlers 2-3 years old, will begin Monday, Feb. 7 and run through March 3. (Choose one of the following times: Mondays, 10:30-10:50 a.m., Wednesdays, 2:30-2:50 p.m., or Thursdays, 10:30-10:50 a.m.)
- Storytime Stars, storytime for preschoolers 4-6 years old, will begin Tuesday, Feb. 8 and run through March 2. (Choose one of the following times: Tuesdays, 3:30-4 p.m. or Wednesdays, 10:30-11 a.m.)
- Saturday Morning Kids, drop-in storytime (no registration required) for children 3-6 years old and their families, will be canceled Jan. 22, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5. Saturday Morning Kids will resume Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10:30-11 a.m.
Baby Booksit, Baby Steps, Wiggle Worms and Storytime Stars require registration and are for Richardson residents. Call 972-744-4358 to register or for more information. All storytimes are held in the First Floor Program Room.
