The State of the City Address highlighted several topics including the 2021 Bond Election, the Richardson Innovation Quarter, and the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s theme was “Making Richardson Home.” The event featured faces and places that help make up the community – from families and first responders to nonprofits, educators and artists.
The Mayor and the Richardson City Council also talked about the future of Richardson with several infrastructure projects set to take place around the community, a newly named city manager, and the opening of the new Richardson IQ headquarters.
