In partnership with Huffhines Harvest Fest, Kids Markets is returning to the second day of Huffhines Harvest Fest this fall, featuring all-youth vendors (ages 5-17) selling artistic creations, food items and more as they learn about entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership. From crafts and artwork to sweet treats and unique creations, every booth showcases imagination, determination, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Participation requirements are:
- Children must be 5-17 years old and able to run their booth completely on their own when interacting with customers. That means your child must be able to handle food, take and fulfill orders, answer customer questions, take payment and make change.
- Parents may help their child when needed, but cannot interact with the customers directly.
- Booths must stay fully set up for the entire market. Early breakdown is not allowed and may disqualify you from future events.
- Kids Markets welcomes children with disabilities or special needs—and any person whose cognitive ability is under 18 years of age—to participate with any necessary parental assistance.
The market will take place from noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18 at Huffhines Park. The registration fee is $25 and online registration is now open.
