Saturday, June 1 is Splash Day in Richardson, which means residents and their families will be able to stop by and enjoy the City’s neighborhood swimming pools for free.
Splash Day is Richardson’s kick off to summer.
There will be free admission from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Canyon Creek Pool, Cottonwood Pool, Glenville Pool and Terrace Pool, as well as Noon – 8 p.m. at the Heights Family Aquatic Center.
“Everyone who comes out will be able to see our facilities and to just get out and enjoy what we have here in Richardson. It’s just a fun time to get families out together, it’s a relaxing day,” said Doug Kierstead, athletics and aquatics manager.
Please note, the Heights Family Aquatic Center doesn’t officially open for the Summer season until May 30 but will be open May 25-27.
