Now that Richardson’s recreation centers have reopened, in-person classes offered by the Parks and Recreation Department are back as well, at 50 percent the usual capacity. Some instructors are offering virtual classes at a reduced cost. Heightened cleaning procedures for the classrooms take place between classes and at the end of the day. Masks are worn by instructors and encouraged among students; social distancing is practiced as well.

Among the classes being offered are martial arts classes for all ages plus youth dance, Lego design, soccer and cooking classes. Adult classes being offered include yoga, Pilates, Zumba, dance and fitness boot camp.

Cost and skill requirements vary by class. Visit www.cor.net/parksonline for more information including a full listing of classes and to sign up online.
