At Monday’s City Council meeting, the City Council approved a resolution to reappoint former Richardson Mayor Gary Slagel to represent Richardson on the Board of Directors for Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). His board position, appointed every two years, represents Richardson, University Park, Highland Park and Addison, out of the 13 DART member cities.
Slagel has served on the DART board since 2011 and is the current Board Chair.
