Water University, a division of Texas A&M’s AgriLife Extension Service, is hosting the following free classes online during the week of April 12:
- “Made for the Shade: Shade Gardening”
Tuesday, April 14
5-6:30 p.m.
Learn about the many native and adapted plants that not only survive but thrive in shadier spots, along with tips and tricks to create beautiful shade gardens that beat the Texas heat. - “Put the Care into Lawn Care”
Thursday, April 16
5-7 p.m.
This course will teach proper lawn maintenance techniques and efficient watering methods to create a lush and healthy lawn.
The classes are conducted live on Facebook (@AgriLife Water University), with staff horticulturalists and water resource professionals on hand to receive and answer questions typed into the comment section. No pre-registration is required.
