Seniors wanting a more socially distanced way of experiencing the Dallas Arboretum will get just that in a new program announced recently by Richardson Senior Center staff. Three online, live and interactive tours of the Arboretum are being offered, with the first scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. Participants will go behind the scenes of “Autumn at the Arboretum” in the comfort of their own homes for a one-of-a-kind look hosted by Arboretum Vice President Dave Forehand.
Cost is $20 for a three-tour package. The second virtual tour will take place in December featuring the Arboretum’s “The 12 Days of Christmas;” the third tour is scheduled for February and will feature a hands-on demonstration.
