The 2019 Richardson Public Safety Expo will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 from
9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Richardson Civic Center Fountain Plaza. The annual event
is free, family-friendly and a great way to get a closer look at police and
fire operations as well as learning how to make homes and neighborhoods safer.
Activities/exhibits include:
- display of first responder vehicles
- K-9 demonstrations
- a bike rodeo for kids
- helicopter visit
- SWAT display
- Animal Services’ Mobile Adoption Trailer
- face painting, bounce house
- character visits from Nat the National Night Out Knight and McGruff the Crime Dog
- food and refreshments for purchase
