Altrusa International of Richardson is hosting a reception Oct. 22 at the Richardson Woman’s Club, in lieu of their annual Outstanding Women of Today luncheon. The “Outstanding Women of Today: 2021 Unsung Heroes Reception” begins at 12:30 p.m. and honors 17 frontline, local female employees in the medical, nonprofit and public safety fields who have served the community during the pandemic. Funds raised at the reception will be used to support Altrusa’s community programs including local scholarships.
Tickets are on sale for $40 per person; sponsorships are available as well.
