Santa’s Village, which was scheduled to wrap up Dec. 11, will be open Saturday, Dec. 17 from 6-9 p.m. at Huffhines Park. The decision to reopen the Village was made after rain and wet grounds forced Santa’s Village to remain closed Dec. 10-11, and was only possible thanks to dozens of volunteers coming together on short notice. The City of Richardson would like to thank of all of these volunteers and sponsors for allowing Santa’s Village to open one additional day.

This year the annual holiday event features eight tiny, decorated buildings nestled among the trees, each with a treat and/or fun activity for children. Don’t miss the opportunity for a free photo with Santa!

Admission and parking are free. Santa’s Village is located on the northeast side of Huffhines Park, adjacent to the softball fields and just south of Fire Station 4, 1500 Apollo Rd.

Note: When the buildings are closed, visitors are welcome to stroll the grounds and take photographs daily from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. through Dec. 25.
